Purchases with your Check or Money Order will not be shipped until your check clears the bank.
Shipping charges
We have a set policy that the shipping cost should be the actual cost of Shipping. Price is based on the actual shipping charge of your package. We value our customers and want to save them money We do have an estimated shipping chart that has prices in them. They are just there for estimates. Most of the time we are under the price that you see. We mainly use the United States Post Office (USPS) Insurance is available for any order, and is encouraged, as we can't be responsible for the Post Office. All orders $100 or over will automatically have insurance added to total price. Just let us know your wishes in the comment section of your order.
We now ship all orders Priority Mail, unless requested otherwise.

If you are not sure, pick Other. We will only charge what the USPS is currently charging.
We do not charge a handling fee.
The actual price of shipping will not be on your emailed copy of order, but a estimated price will be included. Actual price will be added before your credit card is charged. Pick-up by Local Customers
If you prefer to pick your order up at Desert Rose, the shipping charge will be waived. We do, however, require prepayment. If you do not wish to give your credit card information on-line you can phone it in at 541-576-3530. Be sure to mention in the Special Shipping Instructions box that you will pick up your order. Please include your phone number so we can notify you when your order is ready. Any order to be picked up at Desert Rose must be paid for at time of order or it will not be processed.
Refunds
We do not accept returns or give refunds on cut fabric. However, if you received a wrong item by mistake, or the fabric is inadvertently sent to you with a manufacturer flaw, we will gladly correct the error at our cost. Copyright material (i.e., books and patterns) are not returnable. Items other than cut yardage may be retured up to 30 days providing they are in saleable condition. Customer pays for returning shipping and credit will be issued for returned item only. Because we work with the finest manufactures in the quilt industry, we are confident in the quality of our products.
